GDPR Privacy Policy
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in the UK on 25 May 2018. In accordance with the required data compliance, the following provides details of how data is processed and stored, client access rights, data retention, and other information.

Objective Professional Services Limited collects and stores data for recruitment purposes only.
We source data from a variety of platforms when looking to fill open specific positions/ assignments/projects for specific clients; or via advertising on a variety of online job boards. The only data sourced is C.V. data comprising of name, address and contact information, employment history, education and any other relevant details. These are then held in secure online storage accessible only to Objective Professional Services Limited and our affiliated company Objective Recruitment Services Limited for the sole purpose of fulfilling recruitment and other specific business services assignments.
We only keep this C.V. data until the specified open roles are filled. We cannot estimate the exact time period but consider this period over when a candidate accepts a job offer for the position for which we are considering a candidate. When that period is over, we either delete the data held or request individual consent to keep it for future roles/assignments only if we believe we can help progress a candidate’s career/job requirements.
Provision of data to companies seeking candidates and other businesses is only initiated after client/candidate consent. No other provision of data will be permitted without client/candidate consent.
All clients/candidates have the right to request details of the data held for them, and any supplementary information. Clients/Candidates have the following rights:
Right to be informed
Right of access
Right to rectification
Right to erasure
Right to restrict processing
Right to data portability
Right to object
Right to withdraw consent at any time, where relevant.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
The right of access allows individuals to be aware of and verify the lawfulness of the processing. Client/Candidate requests for access to their data will be fulfilled by the Data Controller normally within seven working days.
Client/Candidate data will be retained for a period in accordance with GDPR regulations. This period is subject to relevance and other criteria but may be a period of up to 3 years. Objective Professional Services Limited remove non-relevant candidate details immediately. At expiry of the retention period all data for the Client/Candidate will be checked for relevance and either securely destroyed or updated if granted consent is received.
